IReS seek applications from suitably qualified individuals who are dedicated and industrious with a strong work ethic, capable of working alone or as part of an effective multidisciplinary team. A willingness to travel and knowledge of languages other than English would be an advantage. Good written and verbal communications skills are an essential requirement.
Geologists/Junior Geologists (Clastic or Carbonate)
Minimum qualification is a geoscience degree, although up to 5 years relevant experience would be an advantage or trained with a suitable masters or PhD qualification and up to 3 years appropriate experience. The suitable candidate/s would be expected to carry out routine sedimentary geological analysis, description and interpretation.
Senior Geologists (Clastic or Carbonate)
Minimum qualification would be a masters or PhD qualification with more than 3 years relevant experience. The suitable candidate/s would be expected to carry out sedimentary geological analysis, description and interpretation, co-ordinate projects and participate in the generation of new business.
Inorganic Geochemists
Minimum qualification would be a post-graduate qualification in geochemistry with relevant experience an advantage. The suitable candidate/s would be expected to assist in the analysis and interpretation of geochemical data sets, co-ordinate projects and participate in the generation of new business.
